Documents for Aupair-application to Germany

First of all, you should read the "Information for the Aupair-applicants" and the official regulations given by the German Federal Institution for work - "Aupair in the German host family".

After that, if you fulfill the requirements described there, you can apply for the Aupair-program.

The following documents are necessary for the application:

1. Online Application NOT available at the moment!

(or printed application form in PDF or DOC format for download - for printing, sending, faxing...)

Afterwards the following:

• One passport photo
• Some private photos
  (e.g. with your family, with children you have taken care of, etc.)
• A friendly letter for the unknown host family
  (about your experience in taking care of children and with house work; about your hobbies and interests; and why you would like to come to Germany as an Aupair)
• Child care reference
  (Baby-sitting, practical in school or kindergarten, at relatives etc.)
• Character reference
  (from teachers, employers, etc.)
• Certificate of your language knowledge
  (e.g. from teachers in German, etc.)
• Medical certificate
• A copy of your identity card and/or passport

All the documents have to be written in German or translated into German, readable and written with a black pen.
